Twenty yards of stub tracks and the helper
Some tracks hang off another track instead of the ladder. The engine only reaches the back track while the front one is clear up to the switch, and the fouling point is marked.
A second switcher works the far lead with its own cut. Either engine can move, changing engines is free, and the two have to hand cars to each other through the tracks.
20 yards, pars from 7 to 13 moves. Beside its theme, chapter 180 draws on kicks, open slots and doubled outbounds, with two breathers of plain sorting and extra cars. Difficulty runs as a sawtooth: runs of easy yards, a spike, a breather.
