Twenty yards of stub tracks and auto racks
Some tracks hang off another track instead of the ladder. The engine only reaches the back track while the front one is clear up to the switch, and the fouling point is marked.
An auto rack is two car lengths long and takes two slots on a track and two behind the engine, so every capacity becomes a length budget.
20 yards, pars from 4 to 10 moves. Beside its theme, chapter 26 draws on repair time, outbounds and tonnage, with two breathers of plain sorting and extra cars. Difficulty runs as a sawtooth: runs of easy yards, a spike, a breather.
