Trains on a timetable
The move counter is a clock. Arrivals roll in off the main at their move and need room; departures leave on time only if the train is standing in order, or the shift is lost.
4 hand-made yards, pars from 8 to 11 moves. Every yard has two challenge variants that open once it is finished at par.
The yards
| # | Yard | Par | The job |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Due Out | 9 | The clock is the move counter. The outbound Albany, Boston on Track 1 leaves at move 7, ready or not, so have it standing in order by then. Dover on 2, Concord on 3. |
| 2 | Inbound | 9 | Two cars, Albany and Boston, come in off the main onto Track 3 at move 3. They need room, or the shift is lost. Albany on 1, Boston on 2, Concord on 3. |
| 3 | Connection | 8 | The outbound Albany, Boston, Albany leaves Track 1 at move 8, and two of its cars only arrive on Track 3 at move 3. Concord on 2, and Track 3 clear. |
| 4 | Rush Hour | 11 | Everything at once. A cut arrives on Track 3 at move 2 and another at move 9; the outbound Albany, Boston, Concord leaves Track 1 at move 7. Concord on 2, Boston on 3, Albany on 4, and the Dover cars kicked onto the Mill Spur. |
