Yard orders that fire on the clock
Yard orders fire on the clock: a track closes and reopens, the yardmaster reassigns a track, the work train needs one clear, and the other crew moves cars on its own schedule.
4 hand-made yards, pars from 7 to 8 moves. Every yard has two challenge variants that open once it is finished at par.
The yards
| # | Yard | Par | The job |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Out of Service | 8 | The section gang has Track 3 from move 2 to move 5: nothing in or out while it is closed. Albany on 1, Boston on 2, Concord on 3. |
| 2 | Next Train | 7 | Two trains from one track. The Boston pair leaves Track 1 at move 4, ready or not, and the yardmaster then gives Track 1 to the Concord cars. |
| 3 | Work Train | 8 | The work train runs over Track 1 at move 2 and again at move 4, and the track must be empty each time. Albany on 1 all the same, Boston on 2, Concord on 3. |
| 4 | The Other Crew | 7 | At move 4 the other crew takes the first car on Track 3 and shoves it onto Track 1, whatever it is. Make that work for you. Albany on 1, Boston on 2, Concord on 3. |
